Divine Intercourse: Insights from My Dark Night of the Artist’s Soul

An Introduction to Divine Intercourse

Have you ever felt completely hollowed out?

Not broken, not destroyed — just… emptied. Like some ancient part of you finally released its grip and left your soul echoing in the absence.

THAT was my 34th birthday gift from Source.

No cake. No candles. Just a silent, sacred unraveling.

What left me wasn’t visible. It didn’t scream. It didn’t crash or burn.

It slipped away like a shadow tired of hiding in my body.

What remained was still me… but stripped. Bare. Honest.

What I discovered in that hollow space was a pattern that had been there most of my life — a voice inside me that feared success more than it feared failure. That equated being seen with being unsafe. That tried to keep me alive by keeping me small.

It wasn’t malicious. It was ancient. Familiar. It was protecting me the only way it knew how.

But its language was sabotage.

Not with fire, but with a thousand subtle cuts.

The Fantasy of Failure

This old self didn’t plot against me with drama — just quiet consistency.

Little things.

Putting off the email.

Not following up.

Feeling resistance every time I got close to being fully expressed.

Telling myself I was being “realistic” when really I was rehearsing my own downfall.

Here’s the thing that cracked me open:

I had been fantasizing about failure more often, and more vividly, than I ever dared fantasize about success.

And I’m not alone in this. So many of us do it.

We play out worst-case scenarios like rituals, thinking it will protect us.

As if preparing for pain will make it hurt less.

As if fantasizing about disappointment will somehow inoculate us from it.

But fantasy is not neutral.

It is creative fuel. It’s prayer in motion. It’s spellwork.

And most of us have been casting our attention on what we don’t want, wondering why it keeps showing up.

Divine Intercourse

This entire process — the hollowing out, the return to self, the rewriting of belief through the body — is what I’ve come to call Divine Intercourse.

Not just sex.

Not just spirit.

But the sacred, co-creative penetration of awareness into form.

The dance between imagination and embodiment.

The way our fantasies enter our nervous system and shape our world.

Every thought, every feeling, every vision — you are being made love to and making love with life all the time. Whether consciously or unconsciously.

And like any intimate relationship, what you focus on grows.

What you touch with your attention begins to move.

What you surrender to, you merge with.

This is Divine Intercourse.

Attention Is the Currency of the Soul

We don’t get what we want. We get what we know.

And our body only knows what it’s been taught to recognize as familiar.

If you’re used to chaos, you’ll seek it.

If you’re used to rejection, you’ll find it.

If you’re used to heartbreak, you’ll attract it — not because you’re broken, but because your system is trying to protect you with what it knows.

And here’s the hardest truth:

You might not even recognize your dream life if it showed up today.

Because you haven’t practiced receiving it.

That’s what I’ve been learning.

That peace, success, joy — they have to feel safe in the body before they can fully arrive in your reality.

If not, we’ll push them away. Or call them a fluke. Or ghost them after the first date.

The Body is the Wand

You are not just a mind with intentions. You are a body with rituals.

Every belief you’ve ever had lives somewhere in your flesh.

The stories you tell about love, money, creativity, sex, safety — all of them have a somatic signature.

So when we talk about reprogramming your reality, we aren’t just talking about affirmations or mindset shifts.

We’re talking about embodied spellwork.

Your body is a wand. Your nervous system is a spellbook. Your attention is the incantation.

If you want to change your reality, you must first change the story your body believes is true.

The Power of Erotic Specificity

One of the biggest things I’ve realized: vagueness is the enemy of creation.

You can’t manifest “better.”

You have to get specific. Like you’re writing erotica for your own life.

How does it look, feel, taste, smell?

How does your nervous system respond when you imagine it?

The more detailed your fantasy, the more real it becomes — and the more magnetic it becomes to you.

We are not here to hope.

We are here to create.

And the only way to seduce your dream into being is to make it feel safe, sexy, and familiar in your body.

Erotic Art as Spellwork

This is why I love pinup art — erotic altar pieces to awaken divine remembrance in the flesh.

Each one is a mirror. A sigil. A spark.

A way to remember that pleasure is holy, that your body is sacred, and that fantasy is a doorway, not an escape.

Each piece carries an energy. A possibility. A prayer.

In this series, the erotic will become our icons — the visual language of Divine Intercourse.

This is the Invitation

Over the next 7 weeks, I’ll be engaging in and sharing my full-body reclamation through the nervous system and chakras:

A blog and video series mapping this entire concept of Divine Intercourse through the body’s seven energy centers — from the Root to the Crown.

Each week, we’ll explore:

  • What keeps each chakra blocked or disembodied
  • How fantasy, attention, and embodiment play into that
  • Erotic rituals to reconnect
  • Featured Sexy Stamps to meditate on as sigils
  • A portion of proceeds supporting sex worker mental health through orgs like Pineapple Support

We’re healing in public. We’re creating in motion.

We’re making the sacred sultry, and the sultry sacred.

Stay Tuned, Beloved

The first installment of Divine Intercourse drops next week — starting with the Root.

We’re going deep.

We’re getting messy.

We’re turning trauma into turn-on.

We’re turning the nervous system into a temple.
