Tattoo Policy
Please read through the following information to be best prepared for your tattoo appointment. By booking with me you are acknowledging that you are familiar with this information.
Booking:
Not everyone is guaranteed a tattoo by submitting an inquiry – certain tattoos are not something I can / want to take on – certain clients may not be the right fit
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone on those grounds.
Prohibited:
The following are prohibited during our appointment:
- Being drunk / intoxicated / high on drugs (weed is fine)
- Being sunburned
- Being pregnant
- Breastfeeding
- Children and Animals
- Phone calls while tattooing
- Fidgeting
- Impatience
- Inflexibility
- Entitlement
- Generally Unpleasant Behavior
Deposits:
By submitting a deposit, you are confirming your desire to work with Sinjeezus and have them design your tattoo. Your deposit covers the research and design work that goes into your tattoo prior to your appointment as well as holding the appointment slot for you. Your deposit is non- refundable once work has begun on your design and covers 3 design adjustments. Please have as clear of a vision for your tattoo as you can prior to submitting your deposit. If you have not looked at Sinjeezus’ work, or do not fully trust them to deliver a design to your liking, please DO NOT submit a deposit or book an appointment.
With most returning clients I offer a rolling deposit service. If you are going to come back for a second session or know that you will want another tattoo soon, I can keep your deposit rolling for as long as you are going to keep getting tattooed. The deposit can be used at any point for any tattoo with the understanding that the next appointment will require an additional deposit.
Appointments:
Once the deposit has been received, your appointment will be booked, and a confirmation email will be sent with important information to review before your appointment.
If you fail to show up to your appointment without advanced (24+ hrs) communication about your situation, your deposit is forfeit, and you will be required to submit another to rebook your tattoo.
If you need to reschedule for an emergency - please communicate as I will do my best to be accommodating. If you are rescheduling voluntarily, doing so less than 72 hours before your appointment will require another deposit to rebook, as I am less likely to fill your vacancy in too short a timeframe.
Lastly, and VERY IMPORTANTLY please DO NOT have other events / appointments booked before or after ours. Tattooing is a procedure that requires attention to detail for your safety and for mine and can not be rushed. We need as much flexibility as we can get on the day of your appointment. Semi-related: Please do not schedule your tattoo right before you’re going to be engaging in any outdoor vigorous activity (i.e. hiking, ATV, parasailing, etc.)
If during our appointment you mention that you have somewhere important you have to be that will require a rushed-session, you will have one of the following options: 1) Allow me to finish the tattoo at my own pace, and risk tardiness to your next function. 2) Leave immediately with an unfinished tattoo and be unwelcome for future appointments. 3) If it is an absolute emergency - accommodations can be made.
Precare:
AVOID / MINIMIZE: Sun Exposure, Alcohol, Drugs, Inflammatory Foods, Toxic People or Situations (we want your nervous system in a receptive mood) 48 hours in advance of your tattoo
• ALSO avoid moisturizer on the tattoo area the day of the tattoo - dry skin will help for stencil application. The days leading up to the tattoo are fine to use moisturizer.
GET PLENTY: Rest, Water, Food, Good Vibes, Gratitude, Conscious Connection with the area to be tattooed. 48 hours in advance of you tattoo
PLEASE be sure to come well rested, hydrated, and having eaten 90 minutes from your appointment to avoid the possibility of fainting, migraines, general irritability. You are welcome to brings snacks and drinks.
